The term "aromatherapy" means to promote health through inhaling various
aromatic essential oils but also encompasses their topical application.
Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts taken from plants, shrubs,
flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds. The inhalation of some essential oils
can increase the body's production of endorphins and antibodies. They are oxygenating and
help to transport the nutrients to the cells of the body.
Our optimal health requires the full absorption of the nutrients received in our ingested foods,
and essential oils assist in this process.
Essential oils have been used
throughout the ages. The Bible contains over a hundred
references to essential oils. Frankincense, myrrh, galbanum,
rosemary, hyssop, cassia, cinnamon and spikenard were some
of the oils used for anointing and healing the sick.
Modern clinical research has confirmed that frankincense,
which the Wise Men brought to Jesus at birth, contains
immune-stimulating properties. Ancient hieroglyphics
describe how the Egyptians used essential oils for healing,
thousands of years before the time of Christ.
Scientists are now rediscovering
the therapeutic properties of essential oils.
Certain essential oils produce profound effects on emotions and hormonal balance.
Just a drop or two can have an immediate effect upon
the body within seconds. Holistic practitioners, who
understand the significance of balancing their clients'
frequencies for optimal health, use essential oils for this
purpose. Essential oils generate a broad
spectrum of megahertz frequencies, ranging from 47Mhz to
320Mhz. The majority of essential oils are blended
for use in perfumes, but today companies such as
Young Living Essential Oils
are producing therapeutic-grade essential oils.
Young Living
also combines several individual essential oils to produce
some powerful blends, as well as oral supplements containing
these beneficial oils.
The People's Desk Reference
for Essential Oils
compiled by Essential Science Publishing
describes many therapeutic uses for essential oils and
other supplements to treat: arthritis, asthma, ADD, high
blood pressure, chronic fatigue, colds and flus, diabetes,
emotional trauma, fibromyalgia, fungus, gallstones, hair loss,
headaches, inflammation, insect bites, lupus, MS,
neurological diseases, parasites, PMS, skin disorders,
smoking cessation, weight loss and much, much more.
I have witnessed the immediate effects of Young Living's
lavender oil on myself and my children after being stung
by a wasp or bitten by bugs or on burns.
My youngest daughter uses the Brain Power blend to increase
her mental potential and clarity on test days.
The Clarity blend oil is also helpful because it contains
peppermint oil. In a study performed at the
University of Cincinnati, peppermint oils was found to
increase the mental accuracy of students tested by 28
percent. Couldn't using these blends during
LEAP or ACT test next year yield improved test scores for
our young students?
I use the Joy oil blend on my wrists and heart daily and let
my seminar participants also experience the effects of this
oil. Many people utilizing this blend, which contains
the very high frequency of Rose oil, report great results
in the treatment of depression. I also use the Valor
blend daily on my feet, which builds courage, confidence
and self-esteem. How many of our young children or
athletes could benefit from the use of this blend?
The
Changing Lives Energetic Balancing System
has incorporated the use of over 100 oils and
oil blends for the benefit of our clients.
The rediscovery of the therapeutic benefits of essential
oils for our optimal health and well being is exciting.
